Sentient

Mitch Mitcherson Mind bending sci-fi Death, unlike any you’ve heard before. Or maybe you have since I’m late to this release. Anyway this is more like if Disgrace boofed alien spores and recorded this session. Or like if Demilich played live on the event horizon of a black hole. Heavy and evil sounding most of the time; Pinch harmonics galore too.

chris_topher_mc The year is 1989. You're driving your T-top Trans-Am to pick up your hot cheerleader girlfriend and her hotter friend after football practice to go to the beach. You're looking really rad in your fluorescent yellow muscle shirt, hot pink swimming trunks and Ferris Beuler sunglasses.......you are drowning in RADNESS........

Fast forward to now. I'm certainly not sure what the equivalent to the aforementioned scenario is (in terms of being totally radical)......but this album is SUPER FUCKING RAD!!!!!

If you get all tingly at thoughts of new takes on old school inspired death metal in the vein of Blood Incantation, Tomb mold and Obliteration .....with sprinkles of unusual Demelich meandering guitar lines and Timghoul essence.......get on it.
